A Comprehensive List of Text & Video Resources for Individuals Suffering from Decision Making Anxiety

Decision Making Anxiety is a problem being faced by many individuals around the world, and it affects their mental health in a severe way. Learning how to resolve decision making anxiety, is one of the best gifts, that I, as a counsellor, can give to the individuals whose lives are beleaguered due to Decision Making Anxiety (henceforth referred to, as DMA). In this article, I want to share some exciting and valuable information that I have created for alleviating DMA, and for becoming more relaxed mentally and physically.

My Journey towards Studying Decision Making Anxiety

After 2 years of research and observation, I finally got down to putting my thoughts, conclusions and observations to paper (and video). Initially, I shared my articles on LinkedIn, and filmed and uploaded the videos to my YouTube channel.  While writing has been my area of comfort since a long  time, I have never been a very video friendly person. However, since video is the medium of today, and can also reach a larger number of people, I gathered up my courage, and decided to give it a shot.

Chronic decision making anxiety (or DMA) can manifest itself in many different areas of a person’s life – it pervades into decisions about career, personal life, buying a home, deciding where to live etc. among others.

Making decisions doesn’t have to be an emotionally fraught roller-coaster, where you are going up and down continuously without any clarity.

Any decision making model that tells you to consider only one perspective, be it only feelings, or only practicality, while making a decision, is not correct. The quality of decisions resulting out of an imbalanced approach is inevitably poor.
